Wildwood...more than just a neighborhood.

Wildwood subdivision was established in 1978 as one of Longview's first and largest planned communities. It is designed to offer its homeowners more than an address but a way of life. Over 560 beautiful houses are conveniently located in northwest Longview within minutes from shopping, medical facilities, and top ranked Pine Tree ISD schools. Wildwood residents enjoy easy access to Longview's key thoroughfares; Loop 281, Bill Owens Parkway, Highway 300 (Gilmer Road), and H.G. Mosley Parkway.

The natural beauty of East Texas is enhanced with the conscientious effort of the Wildwood HOA to preserve trees and encourage lawn maintenance. Homeowners take pride in seasonal gardening especially in the Spring when Wildwood showcases breathtaking dogwood trees and azalea plants. The advent of Spring is celebrated with an Easter egg hunt at the most popular and enduring common area, Wildwood Lake on Meandering Way. The 12 acre Wildwood Lake Park is suitable for small rowing and paddle boats, or the perfect backdrop for a picnic. Residents may use the boat ramp located at the dam on H.G. Mosley Pkwy to launch small non-motorized watercraft. Other recreational features in the community include a playscape on Heather Lane and a jogging path between Wisteria Lane and Enchanted Lane.

The community of 30 scenic streets is serviced by Longview city water/sewer facilities, with underground electric power and gas utilities. High speed internet is available from Longview Cable or AT&T. Homes in Wildwood vary in size from 1,800 sq ft to 6,000 sq ft. Each of the units within the Wildwood subdivision differ in building restrictions, such as the minimum sq. ftg. of each dwelling, garage access and set back footage requirements. This variety of size and style of homes makes Wildwood attractive and appealing for activities such as walking, cycling, and jogging. It is these amenities and standards that have protected the quality of life and financial investment of Wildwood homeowners. Over the past 27 years, homes have steadily appreciated in value, and Wildwood has remained one of the most sought after communities for growing families and retirees.
